Large Scale Residential Development

This is a good example of how engagement through the plan making process can result in major benefits. The site was a former railway sidings which was identified as a rail linked industrial development site in the Local Plan. The Council through the plan process proposed that the site be reallocated within the Green Belt. We acted on behalf of the landowners and were successful in achieving a ‘white land’ allocation for the site. Following this we successfully pursued residential development though the planning application process and the site now constitutes 30 acres plus of housing development.
